The Cattex EGB-SX2 is a dependable 1000BASE-SX SFP transceiver designed for high-speed fibre networking over short to medium distances. Supporting Gigabit Ethernet (1Gbps) over multimode fibre, it ensures stable and efficient data transmission for business and surveillance applications.
Operating at an 850nm wavelength, the module supports transmission distances of up to 550 metres (depending on fibre type). Its hot-swappable SFP form factor allows for easy installation and replacement without disrupting network operations.
