BSI Super-Gold Thin Foam-Safe CA Super Glue

Super-Gold Thin and Super-Gold+ gap-filling medium thickness represent our line of odourless and foam-safe super glues. These adhesives are non-frosting and boast a mere 2 to 3 seconds longer bonding time compared to Insta-Cure and Insta-Cure+. They produce no irritating fumes for the nose and eyes. The Super-Gold variants are gentle on white foam, making them suitable for constructing foam core wings and for the assembly and repair of plastic and foam models. They also won’t cause fogging on clear plastic. Specifically, Super-Gold+ excels at attaching clear canopies in plastic model kits, while Maxi-Cure remains the recommended choice for other plastic kit assemblies. Wood can be seamlessly bonded to white foam using Super-Gold+ in less than fifteen seconds. When bonding foam to foam, lightly spray one piece with Insta-Set and apply Super-Gold+ to the other before joining. Caution should be taken with excess Insta-Set, as it may generate excessive heat, potentially melting the foam. Both formulations of Super-Gold cure to a more flexible consistency, enhancing shock absorption. In applications requiring a significant amount of super glue, such as saturating fibreglass or Kevlar, Super-Gold eliminates the unpleasant fumes associated with the evaporating monomer, ensuring a more comfortable experience with repeated use.
