The POE-24G, by Ubiquiti, provides earth grounding and surge protection, helps protect against ESD attacks and powers Ubiquiti PoE Devices such as, airMAX, airVision, UniFi and mFi.
ESD attacks are the leading cause for device failures. You can effectively protect against ESD attacks by using a grounded Ubiquiti PoE Adapter, Shielded Cable and connectors.

POE-24G does not work with the AIRGW products (Ubiquiti AirGateways)
